Laurent Duffier

Laurent Duffier has been appointed as L’Oréal Middle East Managing Director in September 2021 after more than two decades of experience in the beauty and retail industry internationally and regionally. Prior to this, Laurent has played an instrumental role as the Country Manager for Turkey from 2018 where L’Oréal Turkey was transformed on its most important strategic priorities, witnessing in particular a very fast expansion of ecommerce, amid a very challenging economic, geopolitical, and COVID-19 context. Laurent joined the Group over 20 years ago where he started his journey in Sales and then worked in different functions such as Marketing, both in operational and product development, Human Resources and Strategy. He also held various leadership positions where he was appointed as the General Manager of the Consumer Products Division for the Middle East in 2011 and for the Eastern Europe Region in 2015. Laurent studied Sales & Marketing at EM Lyon Business School and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration. He is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
