Shravin Bharti Mittal is the Founder and CEO of Unbound, a London-headquartered investment firm specialising in fintech, enterprise software, and logistics globally. Unbound is backed by Bharti Global, as well as a prominent sovereign wealth fund and several large conglomerates/families. Unbound’s portfolio boasts a high concentration of unicorns (37% across 27 investments); most notably Databricks, Cars24, Taptap Send, Motorway, and Alpaca. Shravin also chairs Bharti Global, which has significant international investments including Airtel, Bharti AXA, Norlake Hospitality, and Eutelsat OneWeb. Through 2021 to 2023 Shravin spearheaded the $2.7bn fundraise and management restructuring efforts at OneWeb which were highly successful, leading to OneWeb’s merger with Eutelsat for $3.4bn. With his operator-investor experience and association with the Bharti ecosystem, Shravin has a unique vantage point to identify disruption opportunities for new technologies. Unbound is a reflection of how he sees the evolving role of venture capital in building long-term sustainable businesses and backing exceptional founders who are passionate about solving real world problems at scale. Unbound's philosophy is to invest in industry-defining, multi-generational companies, underpinned by long-term value creation. Shravin's career spans c. 15 years across investing and scaling businesses. He started his career in TMT investment banking at JP Morgan. He then joined Airtel Africa's management team where he led the post-merger integration with Zain (a $10.7bn deal) and oversaw business expansion across 10+ countries. Following his tenure in Africa, Shravin joined the Airtel India team to launch 3G. Previously, Shravin has held investment roles at Better Capital, a private equity firm in London, where he was responsible for turning around distressed businesses; and at Softbank, where he saw the birth of the Vision Fund, a $100bn fund that invests in technology companies. Shravin holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bath and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
