Dr. Javaid Sheikh is the Dean of Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q), a world-renowned leader in global academic medicine and population health, and Chair of the Advisory Board at Longr.
At WCM-Q, he has established advanced research programs in genomics, precision health, and AI-driven healthcare, as well as founding the Artificial Intelligence Center for Precision Health and the Institute for Population Health to advance health promotion and disease prevention.
In 2024, he received the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Exemplary Achievement Award for his transformative contributions to global healthcare. Prior to Weill Cornell, he was a tenured professor of psychiatry and associate dean for veterans’ affairs at Stanford University.
