Dr. Alaa Abd-Alrazaq is an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q), passionately dedicated to harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to revolutionize healthcare. His journey began with a PhD in Health Informatics, laying the foundation for his expertise in leveraging technology to improve health outcomes. He further honed his skills by serving as a Research Associate at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar and through a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship at Hamad Bin Khalifa University. Dr. Abd-Alrazaq also brings valuable experience from his role as a systematic reviewer for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in London, where he played a pivotal role in developing NICE guidelines for women's health. Driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, Dr. Abd-Alrazaq recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in AI and Machine Learning, solidifying his position at the forefront of this transformative field. His commitment to advancing healthcare through technology is further evidenced by his fellowship with the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics (IAHSI), awarded by the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA), and his membership in the Electronic Health Development Association in Jordan (eHDA). Dr. Abd-Alrazaq's primary interests lie in leveraging artificial intelligence, wearable devices, mobile technologies, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to empower patients, deliver precision health, and enhance public health outcomes. His dedication to these fields is reflected in his impressive body of work, with over 100 publications in top international journals since 2019.
