Daniel Metzler

Daniel Metzler is Co-Founder and CEO of Isar Aerospace, a vertically integrated rocket company providing launch services for satellites and satellite constellations. The company builds on highly automated production processes that enable significantly lower costs and massive scalability. Having brought on board former SpaceX executives and deeptech investors, Daniel aims to lower the barriers for space access. Daniel is an advisor to the Director General of the European Space Agency and supports startups, governments, and venture capital funds on space technology. Previously he led a research team at Technical University Munich to develop sounding rockets, and designed new generation aircraft with NASA/DLR. Before that he founded multiple web services.
