Samar Nassar is the Managing Director for Healthcare at Accenture in the Middle East. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous strategic role at the Ministry of Investment in Saudi Arabia (MISA), where she was instrumental in steering healthcare investments and was a board member for the Vision 2030 Health Sector Transformation Program. Samar boasts over two decades of industry experience, marked by her adeptness in orchestrating large-scale, technology-driven transformations in healthcare.
Her role at MISA was preceded by her tenure as Executive Director of Healthcare at KPMG Saudi Arabia. Samar has a notable record in health-tech innovation, especially highlighted by her time with Arterys, where she was pivotal in launching their operations in the Middle East and pioneering AI-based diagnostic imaging in the region. At the National Center for Privatization & PPP, she managed a multitude of sectors and also played a foundational role on the healthcare PPPs committee. Samar’s career features prominent roles at GE Healthcare and Johnson & Johnson MedTech, enhancing corporate growth and fostering innovation.
With an academic background in biochemistry, Samar holds an MBA in International Business and an MSc in Healthcare & Design from Imperial College London.
