Joseph is the Director of Data Products and Analytics at Chalhoub Group, the largest retailer and distributor of luxury brands in the Middle East and North Africa. He is responsible for devising, implementing, and promoting the Group’s data and analytics strategy in alignment with the business units and vertical’s strategic priorities. He is also responsible for managing and leading the Data and Analytics, in all its aspects from competency framework, talent development, career paths and growth. As such, Joseph focuses on ensuring data governance, best practices, data quality and business transformation across the organization and business units.
Joseph has 10+ years of experience in the field of digital, ecommerce, omnichannel and data. He started his career in strategy consulting formulating and delivering digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on e-commerce and omni-channel retail in the UK, France and the Middle East. He was a founding member of Chalhoub Group’s data team in 2019 leading the data product team. He is known for his servant leadership, entrepreneurial drive and bridging the world of technology and business. He thrives to solve business challenges and to enable business to capitalize on value generation opportunities with data.
Joseph holds a master’s in business administration from ESSEC business school in Paris and a bachelor in MIS from St Joseph University in Beirut.
In his free time, Joseph loves to cook mainly on the BBQ, workout and spend time with his 2 boys.
