Dr. Areeb Alowisheq

Their work encompasses conducting and managing research in Natural Language Processing, creating resources for Arabic, and applying text mining and deep learning techniques. Currently serving as an AI consultant at NCAI SDAIA and an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University, they have held several executive roles and managed numerous teams. They earned their Ph.D. from the University of Southampton, focusing on research related to expressing and matching Semantic Web Services and linked data. They are deeply passionate about building human capital to fuel technology innovation in the Kingdom and are a co-founder of CIAG, a non-profit group dedicated to enhancing skills in the domain of cybersecurity.
