Abdulaziz AlBatli is a senior technology executive and policy leader currently serving as General Manager of Technology Enablement at the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST). He has extensive experience across emerging technologies, regulatory frameworks, and market development, with a strong track record in shaping national initiatives that support technology localization, innovation, and private-sector growth in Saudi Arabia. His career spans both public and private sectors, including contributions to the G20 Digital Economy Task Force and the development of multiple technology policies, strategies, and regulatory instruments. Abdulaziz is a co-founder and former board member of the Cloud Computing Association, where he contributed to advancing cloud adoption and ecosystem maturity. He holds a PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in Cloud Computing from the University of Leeds, complemented by executive education from leading institutions including Harvard University and IMD. His work is driven by a consistent focus on strategic planning, cross-sector partnerships, and building sustainable, competitive technology markets in alignment with national priorities.
