Bader Almubarak is the Co-Founder and CEO of Soum, a marketplace that enables users to buy and sell online with convenience, trust, and ease starting in the MENA market. Soum began with second-hand electronics in KSA, becoming market leaders, and is now expanding to autos and collectibles. In just two years, Soum has facilitated hundreds of thousands of transactions across 150+ locations in the KSA, received more than 10 million app downloads, ranked among the 10th most downloaded e-commerce app in KSA for 2023. Soum is backed by local and regional investors including, amongst others, Jahez Group, Isometry Capital, and Outliers Venture and have raised $22Mn to date Prior to founding Soum, Bader worked at McKinsey & Company, executing mergers and acquisitions, and investment diligences for institutional investors in New York, Boston, Dubai, and Riyadh. He holds an MBA from MIT, bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from KFUPM and is a CFA Charterholder
