Alistair Dobson

Alistair is the Executive General Manager of Big Bash Leagues at Cricket Australia and is responsible for all aspects of League management, strategy and growth across the BBL and WBBL. Since joining CA in 2019, Alistair has overseen a period of significant growth for the League – the BBL is now the most watched sporting League in Australia on a per-game basis and enjoys average attendances of over 22,000 per game (a 40% increase over the past two seasons), while the WBBL remains the world’s best cricket League for women. He joined CA after a 14-year stint at the Australian Football League in a variety of senior roles in marketing, participation, strategy and fan engagement.
