Ankush Arora brings over a decade of leadership in Indian sport, with a career shaped by ambition, execution, and impact. From being a Project Manager at Indias first-ever FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017 to playing a leading role in organizing India’s first professional volleyball league, and delivering the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022 and the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022 in the capacity - he has been at the forefront of some of the country’s most significant sporting milestones. A graduate of the prestigious AISTS program in Lausanne, Ankush has consistently championed global best practices - whether it was introducing India’s first hybrid football pitch, driving sustainability and grassroots programs, or streamlining complex tournament logistics. Now, as CEO of the Indian Rugby Football Union, Ankush is working to build a stronger, more structured rugby ecosystem in India from elite to grassroots level - one that’s ready to grow, compete, and thrive on the global stage.
