Zarrar Hasham Khan

Zarrar Hasham Khan serves as Federal Secretary for the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, steering Pakistan’s national digital transformation, telecom policy, and 5G advancement agenda. With over two decades in global telecom and technology leadership, he previously served as CTO at STC Kuwait, where he drove early 5G deployment. He also chairs Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, guiding infrastructure expansion and innovation. Khan holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and an engineering degree from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology. He was awarded Pakistan’s Sitara-e-Imtiaz in recognition of his technology and public-sector contributions.
