Jason Rubin is a pioneering figure in interactive entertainment whose career spans over four decades. He co-founded Naughty Dog in 1984 and co-created the iconic Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter franchises for PlayStation, eventually selling the studio to Sony Computer Entertainment. He went on to co-found internet startup Flektor, which was acquired by Fox Interactive Media/MySpace, and served as President of video game publisher THQ. For the past decade, Rubin has been a key executive at Meta’s Reality Labs division shaping the future of virtual reality. As VP of Content he led first-party studios, publishing, and developer ecosystem efforts, and more recently as VP of Metaverse Creative he led VR and Metaverse Product Design and Art. Jason recently left Meta and is busy vibe-coding and exploring the future.
