Eng. Hossam Megahed

Eng. Hossam Megahed is a highly respected leader in Egypt’s ICT sector. He is the Founder & CEO of IPMagix, a leading developer of mobility, IPTV, and unified communications solutions, and he has held influential roles across the industry over the past 25+ years. His previous leadership positions include serving as a Board Member at ITIDA (2005–2011) and at the Chamber of CIT within the Federation of Egyptian Industries (2004–2011). He has also contributed to national ICT development through his involvement in the American Chamber of Commerce and as a co‐founder and board member of the Internet Society of Egypt. Eitesal NGO is one of Egypt’s leading ICT industry organizations, founded in 2004 after the merger of two major IT associations. It represents over 300 ICT companies across electronics, telecommunications, software, systems integration, training, consultancy, content development, outsourcing, and call‐center services. The NGO operates as a non‐profit alliance focused on industry development, innovation, and capacity building, supporting the growth of Egypt’s ICT sector locally and internationally. In addition, Eitesal has been a key supporter of LEAP since 2024.
