Dr. Tanja Kuzman

Dr. Tanja Kuzman is the CEO of the Digital Serbia Initiative and one of the region’s most influential voices in digital transformation, innovation, and startup ecosystems. She brings over 15 years of experience across public and private sectors.Prior to her current role, Tanja led PwC’s Digital, Startups, and Innovation practice across nine Southeast European countries and was part of PwC’s global teams shaping AI and digital solutions. She has spoken at more than 100 international conferences and mentored over 50 startups.Her earlier career includes investment leadership at a UK-based VC fund, as well as roles at the European Commission (DG ECFIN), the World Bank, and other international organizations. She began her career as Advisor to the Deputy Minister for European Integration of Serbia.Tanja was recognized as one of the World’s 100 Leaders of Tomorrow by the St. Gallen Symposium in 2014. She holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Sheffield and is an Associate Professor at FEFA, with over 30 academic papers, two books, and multiple publications in top-tier journals.
