Lama Alfozan has paved her way in the world of sport as one of Saudi Arabia’s pioneering female fencers. She was a founding member of the Kingdom’s first Saudi women’s national fencing team and was subsequently appointed as a Board Member of the Saudi Fencing Federation. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Saudi Athletes’ Committee under the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee, where she represents and advocates for athletes at the national level. She is also a member of the Female Council of the International Fencing Federation (FIE).Lama was awarded an International Olympic Committee (IOC) scholarship to pursue her second master’s degree, the Executive Master in Sport Organisations Management (MEMOS – French Edition). She presented her master’s thesis at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, focusing on the development of elite athletes in Saudi Arabia.
