Bader Almadi

Based in Riyadh, Bader Almadi serves as the Vice-President & Managing Director, Cisco Saudi Arabia. In this role, he leads Cisco’s strategy and commercial operations, focusing on helping customers unlock the potential of technology to support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Bader is responsible for building key partnerships to drive critical AI infrastructure across key industries, including financial services, sports, entertainment, hospitality, and energy; leveraging Cisco’s extensive partner ecosystem to ensure organizations have the capabilities to compete and thrive.Bader brings over 20 years of extensive experience in information technology and sales leadership to this position. Prior to joining Cisco, he served as the Managing Director for Google Cloud Saudi Arabia, where he spearheaded digital transformation plans across sectors such as finance, healthcare, entertainment, and telecom. During his tenure at Google Cloud, he achieved significant milestones, including the launch of Google Cloud in Saudi Arabia (2023) and Google Pay (2025).Previously, he served as the Country Enterprise Director for Telecom, Cloud, and Financial Services at Dell Technologies. In this role, Bader was leading relationships with major Saudi telecommunications providers such as STC, Zain, and Mobily, as well as banking and cloud service providers. His career also includes roles at Oracle, where he focused on client management in the financial services industry, and EMC, where he served as Education Sector Manager. Bader’s professional journey began at Cisco in 2006, where he started as a Service Account Manager.Beyond his corporate leadership, Bader has played an active role in shaping the Kingdom’s technology landscape. In 2017, he served as an advisor to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) on international partnerships, where he led initiatives to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s international presence with technology corporations, non-government organizations (NGOs), and not-for-profit organizations (NPOs). He also represented Saudi Arabia as a member of the Digital Economy Taskforce at the G20 Summit and led significant initiatives during the Kingdom’s participation at the World Economic Forum (WEF).
