Juan Tomás Hernani

Juan Tomás Hernani is the co-founder and CEO of SATLANTIS, a Spanish space company specializing in advanced Earth observation technologies and end-to-end small-satellite solutions for security and intelligence. An industrial engineer and economist with an MSc in Advanced Manufacturing, he combines senior public-sector experience with a strong industrial and entrepreneurial track record. He previously served as Secretary General for Innovation of the Government of Spain and as President of CDTI, alongside senior executive positions in major industrial groups. Since 2021, he has also chaired YEESS, the Young European Enterprises Syndicate for Space. His recent recognitions include Engineer of the Year 2025 and Best European Earth Observation Company 2026.
