Elly Savatia is a technology optimist and social entrepreneur, Founder & CEO of Signvrse, Africa’s leading ssistive technology company building AI-powered communication accessibility infrastructure for Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities. The platform converts speech, text, and digital content into sign language using 3D avatars and motion-capture–driven linguistic models, enabling institutions to make websites, media, and customer communication accessible at scale. By integrating directly into organizational workflows — particularly telecoms, public services, and financial platforms — Signvrse helps organizations comply with accessibility standards while expanding inclusion for millions of users.Elly is a Mandela Washington Fellow, alumnus Leadership in Business, Clark Atlanta University, Commonwealth Innovation Laureate, and 2025 Royal Academy of Engineering Africa Prize winner. Signvrse is also backed by the Google.org Generative AI Accelerator. In Kenya, he holds the Presidential Innovation Award and has been recognised 4 times by HE. Hon.
