Yazin Al Musafir

Yazin Al Musafir is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Onsor Technologies, an Omani deep-technology company focused on advanced computing, AI, and intelligent hardware systems. He leads the development of NEXA, a next-generation wearable health platform that leverages neuromorphic artificial intelligence to predict neurological and cardiac events.Yazin holds an MBA and is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University, specializing in neuromorphic computing and seizure prediction using brain-inspired AI architectures. His research focuses on deploying energy-efficient AI systems on neuromorphic hardware for real-time biomedical signal analysis.In addition to his academic work, he has played a key role in building Onsor’s computing and AI product lines, leading initiatives in hardware development, embedded AI systems, and international research collaborations. His work bridges research and commercialization, aiming to translate advanced neuroscience and AI technologies into practical healthcare solutions.Through NEXA, Yazin’s mission is to create intelligent wearable technologies that empower patients and clinicians with predictive insights and improve the management of neurological and cardiovascular diseases worldwide.
