Dr. Hanin Alsubae

Dr. Hanin Al-Subaie is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Darent, Saudi Arabia’s vertically integrated operating platform for short-term rentals. With over nine years of experience in real estate and property management, she is pioneering the professionalization of the vacation rental market through technology, compliance, and operational infrastructure.She holds a PhD in Environmental Biology with First Honor from King Saud University. During her academic journey, she gained early business exposure at Nestlé, sharpening her commercial and operational acumen. She later founded a real estate management company focused on tourism properties, which became the foundation for her expansion into real estate technology.In 2021, she launched Darent with a license from the Ministry of Tourism, positioning the company as a trusted operating layer for daily and vacation rentals in Saudi Arabia.Dr. Al-Subaie is a recognized industry leader and speaker, participating in the Human Capability Initiative (2024) and the Smart Buildings Environment Forum (2023). She was named by Forbes among the 100 Most Influential Tourism Leaders in 2024 and 2025.
