Abdulkareem Alkhiary

Abdulkareem Alkhiary is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Eddekhar, a Saudi fintech that embeds savings directly into company payrolls. The platform integrates with HR and payroll systems including ZenHR, Jisr, palm.hr, Oracle HCM and SAP to automatically deduct and invest a share of each employee's salary into Shariah-compliant portfolios managed with partners such as Riyad Capital, ANB Capital and Derayah, alongside end-of-service benefit investment and financial literacy programmes. Eddekhar operates under a Capital Market Authority FinTech experimental permit for robo-advisory activity granted in June 2025, and is certified to ISO 27001 and Saudi PDPL standards. Alkhiary leads the company's engineering and product architecture, building on an earlier career in software engineering and emerging technology: he worked as a software engineer at Trustangle before joining Saudi Aramco as a software engineer and then as a blockchain product manager. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Kansas State University, and co-founded the Founders Running Club, a community for Saudi startup founders.
