Ibrahim Ali AlShaikh

Ibrahim Ali AlShaikh is Co-Founder of Dunes Aero, a Saudi tech-aerospace company he established in 2022 in Jeddah alongside CEO Mohammed Ali Alghamdi. Dunes Aero develops drone hardware and the software that runs it, including the Dunes Ground Control Station, reported as the first bilingual Arabic and English ground control station for drone operations, supporting high-resolution aerial mapping, industrial inspection, search and rescue, medical logistics and AI-powered computer vision. The company began by proposing drones as a lower-cost replacement for security patrol vehicles, then pivoted after finding that while drone hardware was widely available in the Kingdom, no local company was building suitable operating software for it. AlShaikh brought the commercial and financial side of the partnership, having previously worked in e-commerce and operations, co-founding the QUR online store, managing e-commerce at B-Active and holding project management roles at Membrology and NomsLife. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.
