Miguel Blanco-Carrasco builds cultural institutions, major public art programmes and cultural destinations at national and international scale. Over more than two decades he has led some of the Gulf’s most ambitious cultural initiatives, advising governments, museums and destination developers on culture-led transformation.That experience is grounded in delivery. He has held the executive leadership roles behind the region’s most influential cultural programmes, directing them from within the client side. Across a career spanning Qatar Museums, Misk Art Institute, Riyadh Art and Noor Riyadh, he has commissioned hundreds of immersive artworks and built cultural platforms now recognised regionally and globally. At Noor Riyadh, this meant directing the commissioning and delivery of generative and AI-driven light works across an entire capital city, welcoming 9 million+ visitors and setting 16 Guinness World Records.
