Turki Aljoaib
Turki Aljoaib is Managing Partner of Rua, a Saudi venture capital fund that backs technology-driven startups across MENA at the early and growth stages. He leads the fund's strategy, operations, and investments, and sits on the boards of Lucidya, ZenHR, and Ultimate Learning Academy. He is also an independent board member at CoinMENA, a crypto asset service provider licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain. As an engineer by training, he entered venture capital through building. He co-founded Sun Capture, a solar energy services business, and Desert Agriculture, a hydroponics venture. Both ventures addressed the region's energy, water, and food security challenges. That operator background continues to shape how he underwrites and works with founders. He is a member of the fintech committee at the Capital Market Institutions Committee, and holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Southern California.
