Dr. Emad Al Juwaed

Dr. Emad M. Al Juwaed is the CEO Senior Advisor for Digital Enablement & Business Technology at Principal Buyer, where he leads digital transformation and enterprise technology strategy for one of the Kingdom’s most critical infrastructure entities. Dr. Emad also serves as Communications & Crowd Management Advisor to the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, where he supports national-scale crowd communication and public safety initiatives. In addition, he is a member of the Arab Council for Creativity and Innovation at the League of Arab States – General Secretariat, and a member of the Saudi-Spanish Business Council under the Federation of Saudi Chambers.With over 25 years of leadership experience across the public and private sectors, Dr. Emad has held senior roles in smart city operations, national security technologies, and telecom infrastructure. As Secretary General of the Riyadh City Command & Control Center, he oversaw the design of integrated citywide dashboards and operational platforms.Previously, he led the Roads & Lighting division at Riyadh Municipality, managing a SAR 130 billion portfolio, and was a key figure in launching AI based traffic and asset management systems.Earlier in his career, Dr. Emad served in senior management roles at Saudi Telecom Company and Lucent Technologies, where he led large-scale network rollouts and telecom modernization projects. He is recognized for his ability to align digital enablement with Vision 2030 goals, improve cross-sector operations, and drive innovation in urban infrastructure.
