Eniola Aluko MBE
Eniola Aluko is a former professional footballer who represented Chelsea, Juventus and England making 104 appearances over 11 years and playing for Great Britain in 2012 London Olympics.She leads a multi-hyphenate career after graduating from Brunel University with a First class honors in Law (LLB) in 2008 and qualified as a UK Sports & Entertainment solicitor. After her playing career, she became a football executive holding notable roles such as the first ever Sporting Director for the high-profile women’s teams Aston Villa and Angel City FC in Los Angeles. Eni later joined Mercury 13 investment group as a founding investor in 2023 to become a minority owner in Como Women FC in Italy and Bristol City UK and is a leading global voice on investment in women’s sports and athlete investment/ownership. She is also a Limited Partner in Endeavor Catalyst venture capital fund focused on investment for high impact entrepreneurs across technology industries in emerging and underserved markets.She holds ambassadorial roles for Adidas, United Nations and Chelsea FC and has delivered keynote speeches for some of the world’s renowned corporate businesses such as Bloomberg, Latham & Watkins, Nomura Bank, Barclays, Deloitte, Avon, JPMC., Forbes and Vogue on subjects including investment, high performance, diversity & inclusion, women in leadership, women in business, team culture, resilience and online safety legislation.She was honoured with an MBE in November 2023.
