Leena is best known for co-founding Mumzworld.com in 2011, a groundbreaking platform dedicated to simplifying the parenting journey in the region reaching 2.5 million mumz. Under her leadership, Mumzworld.com flourished, becoming a household name before being fully acquired by Tamer Group, a Saudi healthcare powerhouse. In 2024, Leena transitioned from her role as CEO, marking a new chapter as she drives value at Key Capital.Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Leena built a strong foundation in investment banking in London, where she led equity transactions for TMT clients across diverse geographies.A graduate of Cambridge University with a BA in Electrical Engineering, Leena relocated to the region in 2009, and now splits her time between Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Her regional impact garnered widespread recognition, earning her a spot on Forbes Middle East’s list of top female entrepreneurs for four consecutive years, including the most recent Forbes 2023 list. In 2023, she was also named one of the most powerful retail leaders by Retail ME.Leena is committed to advancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem through her roles as a member of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) Board of Advisors, a mentor at the Win Fellowship, and a judge for Eureka!, the Gulf region’s edition of Asia’s largest business model competition.
