Omar Saleh

Omar Saleh is CEO of Echelon Digital Group, a Riyadh-based technology holding company building digital ecosystems and driving innovation across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. He leads Echelon's growth strategy and partnerships, enabling capabilities in AI, data, cloud, autonomy, and digital infrastructure, while advancing Saudi Vision 2030 through national capacity building and local talent development.Omar spent nearly 20 years at Microsoft, most recently as Vice President of Enterprise Business for Microsoft Arabia, leading digital transformation across Energy, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail, and Aviation. Earlier, he led Microsoft's Energy, Manufacturing & Resources business across the Middle East and Africa, spearheading transformation in Oil & Gas, Mining, and Power & Utilities, and helping launch global initiatives including Microsoft Energy Core and Manufacturing Core.He also held technology leadership roles at Eni, Schlumberger, Chevron, Intel, and Sun Microsystems. Omar holds a B.Eng. in Systems Engineering & Automatic Control and an M.Sc. in Technology Management.
