Abdullah Asiri
Abdullah sits at the helm of Lucidya as founder and CEO, the Agentic CX Platform that enables organizations to autonomously turn customer and market intelligence into real-time resolution and measurable business outcomes. As the first AI company in MENA to secure venture capital funding, Abdullah has successfully led the company through multiple successful rounds of funding. Under his leadership, Lucidya has been recognized by the World Economic Forum for its impact and is considered one of Saudi Arabia’s champion companies by joining the Saudi Unicorn Program. His commitment to technology also earned him the title of "100 Entrepreneurs Shaping Saudi’s Future" by Forbes. A true supporter of the region’s burgeoning startup ecosystem, Abdullah serves as a member of the board at financial management system Nqoodlet and shipment management solutions provider Nitros. A serial techpreneur, prior to launching Lucidya in 2016, Abdullah founded several startups including ShopMate (2011), an AI-powered smartphone app utilizing geofencing technology, food delivery app AnaJe3an (2012), and Waqood Tech (2013), a company focused on developing advanced technologies for enterprises and government. Abdullah has an impressive track record of leadership in the tech industry. He is a former tech consultant at the Badir Program, a national initiative for tech startups, and has held board membership roles at Fanni, a home maintenance platform, and Medyaf, a food and catering solutions provider. He is also the founder of Jeddah IO, a developers' community, and a former mentor at Misk Accelerator. Abdullah holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business and Entrepreneurship from Prince Mohammad Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship (MBSC), a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), and a BSc in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech. A perpetual knowledge seeker at heart, Abdullah also obtained executive education certifications from Stanford University, MIT, UC Berkeley, Cornell University, and Babson College in areas spanning global sales, strategy, and entrepreneurship.
