Ahmad Al-Zaini is a Saudi entrepreneur, technology leader, and the Co-Founder and CEO of Foodics. Since co-founding the company in 2014, he has led its evolution from a restaurant point-of-sale solution into an integrated operations and fintech ecosystem empowering F&B businesses across MENA.Foodics enables restaurants, cafés, bakeries, food trucks, and cloud kitchens to manage their operations, payments, and customer experiences through one connected platform. Under Ahmad’s leadership, the company secured $170 million in the largest SaaS Series C funding round in MENA, became licensed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), processed more than six billion transactions, and grew to over 700 employees across eight offices.Beyond Foodics, Ahmad contributes to the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem as a Board Member of Endeavor Saudi, an advisor, and an angel investor. Recognized by Forbes and Endeavor Global, he is committed to supporting founders as they build enduring companies from Saudi Arabia and across the wider region. He has completed executive programs at Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and MIT Sloan School of Management.
