Manoj Kumar Agarwal

Manoj has over 30 years of experience in and managing businesses, leading projects, driving mergers and acquisitions, raising funds, and developing effective business strategies. He co-founded Sea Fund, an early-stage venture fund, and is currently focused on raising capital for its second fund, an INR 2500 million (USD 35 million) initiative. A passionate startup enthusiast, Manoj has been actively involved in advising and mentoring numerous startups, helping them navigate their growth journeys. He is also an advisor and investor in Latize, a Singapore-based data management company leveraging Linked Data technology. Its flagship product, Ulysses, was recognized by Singapore’s government-owned IDA as part of an initiative to foster disruptive technology companies. Until 2013, Manoj served as the CEO of Karuturi Global Limited, one of the world’s top 25 agro-transnational corporations. His responsibilities included corporate affairs and overseeing the company’s India-based businesses, which spanned floriculture, food processing, internet services, and retail (both physical and online). He also led the Global Strategy & Business Transformation function, which involved developing business strategies, IT initiatives, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, marketing, and communications.Manoj is a Computer Science graduate from Bangalore University and has further enhanced his management expertise through an intensive one-year Executive Management Program at INSEAD.
