Yannick Theler

Yannick Theler brings 20 years of Ubisoft experience to Savvy Group, where he is CEO of Steer Studios - a Riyadh-based game development company on a mission to create groundbreaking experiences for players in Saudi Arabia and globally. Yannick began his career in the video game industry in Ubisofts Swiss business office, working as Marketing & Sales Director for over 4 years. He was then appointed VP Business Development for Ubisoft’s business activities in Asia, based out of Shanghai, China. Following this, Yannick was appointed Executive Director at Ubisoft Shanghai where he oversaw the development of many AAA games before taking on the challenge of founding the Ubisoft Abu Dhabi studio thirteen years ago. Previously, Yannick worked in Wealth Management at UBS, and was a professional ice hockey player competing in the Swiss National Hockey League for seven seasons.
