Tariq Bader

Tariq brings more than 16 years of cybersecurity experience. He began his career on Cisco's TAC security team, rising to Technical Team Leader, before taking on leadership of the cybersecurity pre-sales and post-sales practice at one of Saudi Arabia's largest ICT companies. He later returned to Cisco as part of the Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO), covering the MEA region.He now works as a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect based in Saudi Arabia, where he advises customers of every size and sector — primarily within the Kingdom, and more broadly across MEA — on securing their digital footprint. His breadth of expertise across security domains and architectures has made him a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and colleagues alike.A frequent speaker at Cisco Live and other global and regional Cisco events, Tariq also regularly takes the stage at industry and public forums across the region, including LEAP, Black Hat, and MENA ISC. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and has been a CCIE Security holder since 2012.His expertise spans cybersecurity architecture across a range of domains, including — but not limited to — Network Security, Zero Trust Access, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Identity Security, and Threat Detection and Response.
