Tanuja Randery leads Amazon Web Services across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, one of the fastest-growing regions in the global cloud market. She is responsible for setting the strategic direction of AWS EMEA and driving the company's growth across more than 40 countries, overseeing multi-country, cross-functional teams that serve customers ranging from early-stage startups to the world's largest enterprises and sovereign institutions. Under her leadership, AWS partners closely with governments, national investment authorities, and public-sector bodies pursuing large-scale digital transformation and economic diversification.Her teams provide both technical and strategic counsel on cloud computing, working alongside an ecosystem of independent software vendors, advisory partners, and global system integrators to accelerate sovereign cloud adoption and national-scale modernisation programmes. She brings a rare combination of deep technology expertise and boardroom credibility that has made her a trusted counterpart to ministers, regulators, and C-suite leaders across the region.Tanuja brings more than 25 years of strategic, commercial, and operational leadership to the role. She joined AWS from McKinsey & Company, where, as a Partner, she led enterprise transformation projects across the technology and industrial sectors for some of the world's most complex organisations. Prior to McKinsey, she served as CEO of Schneider Electric UK & Ireland, running the national business for the global energy management and industrial automation leader. Before that, she spent a decade with Colt, serving as CEO of UKI and Benelux, with full P&L accountability for a major European telecommunications infrastructure provider. Earlier in her career, she set the strategic direction for EMC across North America, its largest market.Tanuja was awarded a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the King's Honours List for services to business and the technology sector. She was ranked number six on the UK Tech50 list of the most influential people in technology, recognised in the Financial Times HERoes Top-50 Champions for Women in Business in both 2017 and 2018, and named to the Yahoo Finance Top 100 Women Executives List. She serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of The Natural History Museum.Beyond her executive responsibilities, Tanuja is a committed advocate for diversity in senior leadership. She founded the PowerWomen Network, a cross-industry platform for senior women business leaders, and hosts PowerWomen Speak, a podcast exploring what it takes for women to succeed at the highest levels of global business.Born and educated in India, Tanuja holds a Master's degree from Boston University and has been based in London for 19 years.
