Taichi Inagaki

Beginning his career in 2008 at a major facility management (FM) firm in Nagoya, Inagaki took the helm of four core divisions—Executive Planning, Sales, Operations, and Business Promotion. Under his visionary leadership, he orchestrated a monumental growth surge, quadrupling annual revenue from ¥3.5 billion to over ¥15 billion. During this tenure, he pioneered the digital transformation (DX) of over 450 sites, setting a new industry gold standard.In March 2022, he founded Buildpo Inc. to accelerate the integration of technology into the built environment. Today, he leads high-profile DX projects for Japan’s most iconic landmarks, including ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO and Tokyo Skytree (Solamachi). To date, Buildpo has successfully deployed over 3,000 robotic units, boasting one of the most prolific implementation records in the country.Beyond his corporate achievements, Inagaki serves as a Director of the Smart Building Co-Creation Institute, where he actively drives national legal reforms and industry-wide structural changes. By merging boots-on-the-ground operational reality with cutting-edge technology, he is re-engineering the very DNA of the smart building era.
