Steve Eisele

Stephen Eisele is a seasoned business and aerospace executive with over 20 years of experience specializing in business strategy and leadership within the aerospace startup ecosystem. He currently serves as CEO of Lonestar Data Holdings, a pioneering data security company placing assets in space, inmultiple-orbits, including Low Earth Orbit and Cislunar L1 Orbit, for the purpose of providing secure data storage for resiliency and backup storage for critical data. The company is providing secure, sovereign, and accessible data , a cloud above the clouds, to government and enterprise customers alike. Prior to Lonestar, Eisele was an executive with Virgin Orbit for 6 years, spearheading business growth strategies for a Richard Branson company, sourcing billions of dollars in contracts and backlog, and was instrumental in getting the company listed on NASDAQ. He also spearheaded numerous international collaborations for the establishment of Spaceports around the world including in the US, South America,Europe, Middle East, Australia and Asia. Eisele also served as Business Director at Surrey Satellite Technology, a leading small satellite company; as Vice President of Space Services Inc; as Business and Marketing Director at Excalibur Almaz, an orbital space tourism company; as Marketing Director at the X PRIZE Foundation, which kicked off the lunar lander race; and as a Senior Analyst with Avascent Group, a defense and aerospace consulting group. Eisele holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University and a Master ofArts in International Economics and Strategic Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He also holds a masters certificate from the International Space University in space business. Eisele is a frequent guest lecturer at global space conferences and universities
