Renee Pan

Renee is the Managing Director of Gobi Partners, and the DEI & Environment Lead in the ESG Task Force. She is now setting up new funds and looking for new ventures in mainland China and the Greater Bay Area for Gobi Partners, also supporting portfolio growth opportunities such as bringing them overseas.Renee has more than 16 years of experience in business management and operations, 8 years of overseas work and study experience, with a double major in in Business Administration and Marketing from Auckland University of Technology. Renee was previously the Managing Partner of Brinc China - a global VC and Accelerator, created 7 vertical acceleration programs focusing on investing and accelerating early stage startups in MedTech, AI, Smart Manufacturing, Smart Cities, for helping them to faster market validation and 0-100 stage. In addition, she and her team has helped over 100 overseas startups connect with the Greater Bay Area for supply chain or expanding into the China market. She also cooperated with other ecosystem partners, including the government, corporates, research institutes and co-investors to forecast the startup ecosystems. Renee has also been actively involved in innovation and entrepreneurship. She is also a CPPCCC member of the Guangzhou Tianhe Distrit, a member of the Guangzhou Innovation Think Tank and an entrepreneurship mentor of Guangdong Province. Renee has served as a mentor and judge for a number of innovation and startup competitions, including China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Maker in China, Enterprise Singpore’s Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge, She Loves Tech, HICOOL Global Stratup Competition, Baidu AI Competition, Bazil and Portugal Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and THero, Accelerator IV, and Startup Weekend, etc.
