Nika Nour
Dr. Nour is the SVP and Head of International Business Development for Savvy Games Group, a Riyadh-based games and esports company with a mission to establish KSA as a global games hub, and drive long-term growth for the global industry. An ecosystem builder, committed to establishing equitable opportunities for the games industry, Dr. Nour is responsible for building strategic international partnerships, recruiting game studios and companies to the Kingdom, and advising on mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments to support the growth of Savvy’s ecosystem. Dr. Nour held positions in Congressional Affairs for the U.S. House of Representatives and the Director of Communications for The Internet Association, before bringing her digital advocacy expertise to games. Dr. Nour carries a robust policy portfolio, encompassing net neutrality, copyright and digital privacy for major internet companies such as Google and Amazon. Her positions within the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) and International Game Developers Association Foundation (IGDA Foundation), saw her lead multiple STEM-focused initiatives and nonprofit programs, and direct global government strategies to provide education on video game products, bridging technology policy issues and Capitol Hill. With a Masters in Public Relations, Public Policy and Government, Masters in BioDefence, and a Ph.D. candidate in Informatics, focusing on deepfakes and false memories, Dr. Nour has leveraged her technical and emerging media expertise to inform local governments and develop policies to support technology and games ecosystems. Dr. Nour is part of the alumni for Forbes 30 Under 30 for Games.
