Nesreen Ghonaim

Nesreen Ghonaim is the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Sailing Federation, where she leads strategy, operations, governance and partnerships. Her work focuses on growing sailing from grassroots participation through to high-performance disciplines, including kiteboarding and foiling, while building accessible pathways for young people and communities across Saudi Arabia.Under her leadership, the Federation has developed regional sailing centres and youth programmes, expanded strategic partnerships, and secured the hosting rights for the 2028 IODA Asian & Oceanian Optimist Championship. She previously held a management role at the Saudi Triathlon Federation and founded Jeddah Running Community in 2015. A runner and triathlete, she holds a master's degree in Sports Management.
