Mazin is General Partner at Sukna Ventures. He began his career in banking, spending seven years between the Saudi National Bank and Banco Santander in Boston, working across consumer credit policy, risk management, and retail distribution. He holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Finance. Returning to Saudi Arabia in 2013 to pursue venture capital, Mazin joined Takamol Holding, where he developed "Musharakah," a program guaranteeing qualified fund managers to encourage private investment in Saudi VC and PE funds issuing SAR 1.1 billion in guarantees across five funds. In 2017, he was recruited by the Public Investment Fund to help establish its Fund of Funds program, joining as employee number one and building its governance framework and operational infrastructure, including the launch of its brand, Jada. He went on to serve as Investment Director for Venture Capital & Venture Debt, and later Chief Investment Officer, at Jada Fund of Funds.
