Khalid AlHadlaq

Khalid AlHadlaq is the Founder & Managing Partner of Idrisi Ventures, an early-growth venture capital firm investing in technology companies across Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region. He brings more than two decades of experience spanning technology, financial services, government transformation, and venture investing. Khalid has been an active technology investor since 2016, backing more than 20 startups across the GCC, North Africa, and the United States. His investment focus is on post-revenue, scalable technology companies with the potential to become regional and global market leaders. Previously, Khalid held senior leadership roles at Saudi Payments (SAMA Company), Saudi Customs, and ZATCA, where he contributed to major digital transformation, fintech, and innovation initiatives. He also played an active role in the development of Saudi Arabia’s fintech ecosystem, including the advancement of crowdfunding and open banking. Through Idrisi Ventures, Khalid works closely with founders to provide not only capital, but also strategic guidance, business development, governance support, and access to networks that can accelerate sustainable growth.
