Ken Goldman
Ken Goldman is a seasoned financial executive with over four decades of leadership experience in public and private companies. He served as President of Hillspire, a family office management firm overseeing financial operations, real estate, aviation, and maritime activities. Prior to that, Ken was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Yahoo!, responsible for global finance functions, including financial planning, controllership, tax, treasury, and investor relations. He also held CFO roles at Fortinet, Inc. and Siebel Systems, Inc., where he led finance and administrative operations. Over his career, Ken has helped three companies—VLSI, Excite@Home, and Fortinet—successfully go public.Ken’s expertise extends beyond corporate leadership into board service, having served on over 40 corporate boards as a director, audit committee chair, and financial advisor. Of these, more than ten companies went public during his tenure. He currently serves on the boards of public companies such as Fortinet, RingCentral, Zuora, and GoPro, as well as private boards like Wealthfront and Pattern Computer, where he also acts as a consulting CFO. His nonprofit board contributions include roles with RFK Human Rights and the Hoover Institution Board of Overseers.Ken's academic and professional affiliations are equally distinguished. A Cornell University alumnus with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, he served as a Trustee from 2005 to 2013 and now holds the title of Emeritus Trustee. He is a member of Cornell’s Bowers CIS Advisory Council and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board's Investor Advisory Group. Ken also serves on the Harvard Business School California Research Center Advisory Board and previously contributed to the U.S. Treasury Advisory Committee on the Auditing Profession.Outside of work, Ken enjoys skiing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, and golf. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and continues to bring his expertise and leadership to organizations across industries.
