İlhan Bagoren has more than 45 years of experience in ICT sector. Starting his career as a software engineer with vendors like Nortel and Alcatel, he co-founded NewNet in 1988, in Connecticut, USA, where the company became the global leader in signaling protocols. The company was acquired by ADC Telecommunications, a NASDAQ company, in 1997. In 2000, he co-founded Telenity with offices in Turkey and the USA, and later in India and Dubai. In his role as the CEO of Telenity, he leads product innovation and sustainable growth efforts, with exports in 40+ countries, serving 1B+ subscribers. He has taken an active role in Turkish NGOs, starting with the formation and leadership of Telecommunications Technology Cluster (HTK) and Servicers Exporters Association (HIB), for the purpose of globalizing young sector. He is in the advisory committee of TÜBİTAK, and also holds positions at YASAD, TOBB and BİED. İlhan Bagoren has BSEE and MSEE degrees from METU and is a holder of 3 US Patents.
