Hamad AlShehab

Hamad is the Head of Product Development at LAB7, the venture-building arm of Aramco and one of the leading deep-tech venture builders for startups operating at the intersection of technology and industrial transformation. He leads the technical engineering and product development teams, in pursuant to the development of disruptive deep-tech technologies and startups in Saudi Arabia and around the world.His expertise in optimizing front-end engineering design and ensuring cost-effective execution has proven invaluable in the planning and development of Aramco’s capital investment program focused on digital transformation, industrial process automation, and control systems.Hamad holds a Master’s degree in Finance from London Business School; a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals; and a Bachelor’s of Science degree, with honors, in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University. He completed the Aramco Leadership Program in 2023; and the Innovation Executive Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2025.
