Fariha is Partner for the GCC region and Global Head of Capital Formation at Stride Ventures, bringing 24 years of experience across finance, insurance and government in the US, Europe and APAC. She leads capital formation and global investor relations for Stride’s INR and USD funds, supporting Stride’s growth and funding initiatives. Her career includes a decade on Wall Street in the early 2000s, where she worked as an underwriter at AIG and Zurich Insurance. She managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios for US clients, specialising in complex international property and large-scale reinsurance placements, and developed deep expertise in financial analysis and risk management. Fariha has served as an Advisor to the Turkish Prime Minister’s Investment Agency and was a Founding Director at Lightspeed’s The Common Room. Before joining Stride, she was Chief Strategy Officer at Toffee Insurance, where she led underwriting and strategic initiatives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Quantitative Economics from Mount Holyoke College and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. She remains actively involved with the Alumni Board and the HBS Club of India Board.
