Fahad Alghamdi is Director of the Satellite Department within the Spectrum Sector at the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) of Saudi Arabia. He leads national initiatives on satellite regulation, spectrum management, and emerging space communication services, supporting the Kingdom's digital transformation and space sector ambitions.Fahad serves as Chair of the ITU-R Radiocommunication Advisory Group (RAG) Correspondence Group on Improving the CPM Process, Chair of the Arab Spectrum Management Group (ASMG) Working Group on Mobile Satellite Services, and Chair of the Saudi National Team for Space Services for WRC-27, where he leads regional and international efforts on satellite spectrum policy and regulatory development.Throughout his career, he has led the Kingdom's participation in major international radiocommunication conferences, overseen the development of national spectrum and satellite regulatory frameworks, and directed strategic initiatives covering earth station licensing, satellite communications, and next-generation non-terrestrial networks (NTN). His work focuses on enabling innovation while ensuring efficient spectrum use and international regulatory compliance.Fahad holds a Master of Science in Wireless Communication Networks from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University. He combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to advance global collaboration in satellite communications, spectrum management, and space sustainability
