Elias Zamora Sillero

Dr. Elías Zamora Sillero is the Chief Technology Officer of Sevilla FC, where he leads the club’s technology and data strategy, overseeing IT operations, digital platforms, and advanced data analytics and engineering. Holding a Master’s degree in Physics and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Seville, he conducted postdoctoral research at ETH Zurich, developing machine learning methods for complex systems modelling.Before joining Sevilla FC, Dr. Zamora served as Head of Quantitative Research & Product Development and later as Partner and Board Member at GET Capital AG, a German quantitative asset management boutique, where he pioneered AI-driven financial products.At Sevilla FC, he founded and scaled the club’s data department, delivering innovative AI solutions such as AiFans for fan engagement optimisation and Scout Advisor, a generative AI platform for player recruitment. Under his leadership, Sevilla FC became the first sports organisation to join the AI Alliance, positioning the club as a global reference in applying AI to sports and business.
