Baraa Koshak is the Founder and CEO of Abwab.ai, the AI-powered MSME lending platform that helps banks and lenders grow their SME books while managing risk. Abwab's stack covers loan origination, credit decisioning, agentic credit intelligence, and embedded financing. It has processed over SAR 1 billion in SME financing for 13+ financial institutions across Saudi Arabia, cutting credit decision times by 70%, underwriting costs by 90%, and default rates by 40%. Before Abwab, Baraa joined Hala, Saudi Arabia's first licensed fintech, as a founding member and Chief Product Officer, scaling it to 500,000+ users and 80,000+ business accounts. He then led credit and underwriting product at Revolut, one of the world's largest digital banks, where he optimized machine learning models for credit decisioning and supported expansion into 14 countries. Baraa studied electrical engineering and computer science at Boston University and worked at McKinsey before moving into fintech. He founded Abwab to close the $250B+ SME financing gap across MENA.
